Free Delivery and Returns


The good news is that standard delivery to UK is FREE on nearly all orders. Your parcel should arrive within 2-4 working days of you placing your order.

Unfortunately, much as we try to avoid it there are some exceptions to the free shipping rule.

Deliveries to Channel Islands, Northern Ireland and BFPO under 1.75kg are free, but over 1.75kg will incur a charge as shown at checkout.

Deliveries to European destinations shown at checkout are chargeable and are automatically calculated according to parcel weight.

Baumhaus furniture products are very heavy and incur a delivery surcharge to many parts of the UK which would normally fall within our free shipping policy. For full details please click here.


Delivery Options

Please ensure you provide us with accurate delivery address details, particularly your postcode. We cannot be liable for parcels that are lost due to incorrect address information.

We offer several delivery options including standard and express.

On the “View Bag” page of our website you can use the drop down menus to find out how much your delivery will cost. This depends on your country and the delivery speed.


Standard Delivery to UK

A parcel under 1kg is sent by Royal Mail 2nd Class Post; you will not need to sign for it. Please look out for a Royal Mail calling card if you miss your delivery.

We send most larger items (1kg+) via Hermes courier. Your signature is usually requested, but not mandatory. The Delivery Instruction box on our checkout page is there for you to write a doorstep instruction to leave your parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour in case you are out. Please note that such instructions are conveyed at your own risk and we cannot accept liability for your parcel once its status is “Delivered". Unfortunately a day or time cannot be requested and there is no delivery announcement service offered by this carrier. The tracking website shown on your Dispatch Notice will tell you the day it is due to arrive.


Express shipping to UK

For an extra charge we can get your order to you the next working day, provided you order by 1pm.

Smaller items are sent using Royal Mail 1st Class Post and are not signed for. Next day delivery is usual but not guaranteed by us.

Larger items are sent via DPD. A signature is mandatory for this service, so the parcel will not be left unattended. You will receive a text or email from DPD to announce your hourly delivery window.

If you have placed your Express delivery order shortly after 1pm, please phone or email to check on dispatch status before making plans for the following day.


Shipping to Channel Islands, Northern Ireland

Unfortunately we have to charge an extra fee for deliveries of larger items to Northern Ireland and Channel Islands.

Smaller items are posted with Royal Mail, for which there is no additional charge.


Shipping to BFPO

For international BFPO orders, delivery is fulfilled upon signed receipt of the parcel at the BFPO sorting office. Unfortunately we have no control over transit times thereafter, and are unable to assist with onward tracking.


Shipping to Large Establishments

Please note that we cannot deliver to specific departments in large establishments such as hospitals where parking or access is complex for delivery drivers. We can deliver to the main reception desk so long as access is easy and parking is free. If you require this please specify in line 1 of the address.


Shipping of Baumhaus Furniture Products

Baumhaus Furniture Products are large and heavy. We offer free delivery to most mainland UK addresses but surcharges are payable to some addresses - for full details of surcharges and our delivery and returns policy for these products, please click here.


Shipping to Europe

We ship to Europe using Royal Mail or courier. Delivery speeds will vary.


Shipping to the Rest of the World

We don’t specify rates outside of Europe on our “View Bag” page, but we’re happy to provide a quote for shipping to most places in the world – please contact sales@tszuji.co.uk for further information.


What Happens Next?

If you have any special delivery instructions please specify these when you check out. Following receipt of your order we will ship your items to you from our warehouse in Newbury, Berkshire, UK or from one of our logistics partners. We will email you when your parcel has been dispatched, so you know roughly when to look out for it. If applicable we’ll also email you a tracking number so that you can keep tabs on the progress of your delivery.


About Our Couriers

We despatch larger parcels via Hermes, which is the same delivery company as used by leading household names such as Next Directory, Freemans, Boden, Mothercare, Tesco Direct, M&M Direct, Damart and Lakeland. For smaller parcels and special deliveries we despatch via Royal Mail, DPD and DHL.


Out of Stock?

We may occasionally run out of some of our innovative and popular items. Should this be the case you will be advised during the checkout process and on the confirmation email.


Checking Your Delivery When it Arrives

We trust our couriers to deliver our products to you in perfect condition. However, damages do very occasionally occur in transit. When you receive your delivery please check for damages to the outer box before signing the receipt. If there is visible damage please sign and write “ outer damaged” below your signature. If you have a moment to open the parcel and check the contents it’s always advisable but if you’re pushed for time please write “contents unchecked” below your signature.


Flat Pack Furniture

Before commencing assembly please ensure that all of the component parts are undamaged. We are unable to accept returns of units that have been constructed, so please satisfy yourself that you are happy with the size, style and condition of the unit before proceeding with construction.
